Cleaning never seems to end when it comes to my house. And unfortunately, I don’t always know how to clean up all the messes that find their way into my house. However, at long last I have found a website for all of my cleaning needs, http://www.mrcleaning.net. With small kids running around I find myself cleaning up new messes every day, so you can imagine how useful a site, dedicated solely to cleaning, can be.
Last week my youngest daughter caught the flu, cue coughing, runny nose, fever, and of course, vomiting. Tuesday night in particular was especially gruesome and ended with a huge puddle of vomit in her room. I could barely stand to be in there, let alone even start to clean it up.
I was able to get most of it up the good ol fashioned way, paper towels and a carpet cleaner. But this was some wicked vomit, and even after that I could still smell it and there was an ugly stain. This was when I stumbled upon Mr Cleaning. After finding nothing helpful with a basic internet search, I finally found this website and within 5 minutes had the solution to my problem. Mr. Cleaning has an in depth article about getting vomit off of hardwood floors and out of carpets. Believe me, I definitely wish I had hardwood floors because it’s pretty clear right away that they’re way easier to clean. All you have to do is make a warm solution from some common household items and mop the floor.
Cleaning carpets however, is a whole, long process. Thankfully, Mr. Cleaning makes the process easy to understand and follow along with. One of the things that made it so easy was that it gives you multiple methods of cleaning up the mess. This was really helpful because it made it so I didn’t have to go to the store at all. I didn’t have corn starch, which was one of the options for soaking up the stain, but I had cornstarch on hand and was able to use that, and it worked great. The article walked me through the entire process step by step and now it’s like the vomit was never there.
This is just the beginning of what this site has to offer, though. They have how to articles and buying guides on so many topics that there is definitely something there for you. Wondering how to clean your computer screen? They’ve got it. Need to know the best carpet shampoo? They’ve got that too, and the list goes on and on. I could see how clean freaks would love this site, but I don’t consider myself a clean freak and I love the site too. It is just so helpful with small every day cleaning tasks that it’s hard not to love.
I have tried Mr cleaning is more thorough and overall more helpful. They’re buying guides include direct links to products that they recommend that are some of the best on the market. Another great thing is that they break down the specifics of different products so that you can make your own informed decision. I love this because it makes comparative shopping a breeze. Instead of having to find several options and then compare their features yourself, someone has already done it for you and all you have to do is make a choice. That’s not to say you should rely solely on the buying guides and not do any other research. Additional research is always a great thing and can make choosing even easier.
Another great thing is that the site is constantly being updated. Each time I’ve gone back there has been at least one new article. Which means there is always new stuff for you try and learn, which makes it a helpful tool for a long time.
So, if you are ever looking for a quick solution to a big, or small, mess, the best thing you can do is check out Mr. Cleaning. Before spending tons of money getting someone else to clean it, or wasting time trying to clean it the wrong way, Mr. Cleaning can help you get it done quick.
